Dictionary of Family Natalia Ginzburg (published by Einaudi in 1963, other editions : 1963 - Supercoralli, 1986 - The Ostrich) describes from the daily life of the Levi family, family of origin of the Ginzburg. In the background, a Turin characterized by the dramatic events of the twentieth century from the 30s onwards: fascism, racial persecution, war, war. Natalia, the last of five children, Levi, is the narrator. With absolute respect for the truth and, in some ways, keeping the magic of childhood, the text - rather than an autobiography - is a collection of memories that the passage of time may have made vague, fleeting. A book of memory, with sweetness and humor, tells the unconditional love that binds a family separated by war, sadly, but that simply affected some way or say the word "family" to return to feel united. Winner of the Premio Strega , the book got to be an instant success. Interesting is the review on agora magazine editorial an article by the writer on the blog apienavoce.

Film: "Happiness"
There is very little happiness in Todd Solondz's Happiness , thanks to (or because of) this film, released in 1998, became known as a cold observer of the "dark bowels of suburbia Americans ". As noted by the brief review the blog Cinemascope , "Solondz picks humanity today with the grin and the coldness of the most heinous serial killer, filming the infilmabile," even though "... the amazing thing is that Sometimes we laugh too. " Recently the director shot a sort of sequel to Happiness , taking the same characters, but reliable interpretation to different actors: the movie - Life in Wartime in original Wartime in the Italian version - is currently showing in cinemas. Among the numerous reviews online, to signal the ' article published on the site eye line, signed by Paul Fregomeni. Noteworthy is also the ' interview (in English) at the same Solondz published by the newspaper "The Independent".

Bringing all home
Lately I've been leaving a lot of dust accumulating on the blog, but are particularly dense commitments and activities.
This led to the final decision, after months of meditation, uncertainty reasoning: you return home. Going back.
Indeed no, no going back, it goes on , but it's back to Italy.
The reasons behind this choice I am not to list them all,
too long. I put them all in a bag, such as potatoes, and I drew my conclusions. How

damned. I do not know why: the right choice, the best option, those who leave the old road for the new bla bla bla.
Now is the time to pack, say goodbye to the wonderful people that we met
in these two years, all in the house, such as Modena City Ramblers .
Bringing everything home : faces, names, experiences, good moments and moments at the edge dell'obbrobrioso.

A HEART IN BARCELONA
When the square numbs
Barcelona closes his eyes and waves
leaves port
to leave messages on it
of sites of other worlds, always looking
Levante which is the longing for love.
When
sleepy plaza are only streetlights,
lazily making
light guards for the poor that untimely
looking for gold that will never find
if life left in this endeavor.
Ocaña The virgin knows all this,
from the top of the palm
where its altar,
claim to heaven, in full voice:
Where are the robbers of the poor?
Where are those who have stolen from the misery?
Where are those who steal anything they have?
Who seeks?
Where are they hiding?
Barcelona.
If the day is good, in the plaza feel
charity thieves,
is adorned with the sun while dreaming
of those many treasures stolen.
If the day is beautiful in the square quiet your heart
Barcelona.
Ocaña The virgin knows all this,
from the top of the palm
where its altar,
claim to heaven, in full voice:
Where are the robbers of the poor?
Where are those who have stolen from the misery? Where
estan los que nada poseen hurtan at home who? ¿Quién los
persigue?
if esconden ¿Dónde?
Barcelona.
