Edition This year's festival theme was "Towards the East " and for this reason that has been dedicated to Venice, "the door of the East" for Europe, this cartographic and photographic exhibition.

Venice extended its influence on the coast of Istria, Dalmatia, Montenegro to Corfu, Crete and Cyprus. In the exhibition are

Striking photos taken on the Gaza Strip representing moments of fun and entertainment for children on the beach, or a photo of a woman who walks fast, solo near the wall built between Ramallah and Jerusalem .

Beautiful photos of the "salt" in Syria with the people who walk on the quiet white expanse.
Very nice also the photo of the "dance" of the Dervishes in Istanbul. Dervishes are Sufis who practice the religion of dance to reach religious ecstasy.
